Data bundles included in cellphone contracts

I have just discovered that if you have a data bundle included as part of a cellphone contract, the unused portion in any given month is carried forward to the following month and if not utilised, then same is forfeited. I do not have an issue with this, however Vodacom expects clients to fully use up the current month's data bundle before the balance brought forward is used. If you are a careful user like myself and try to stay within the allowance for the month, then the unused portion will in most instances always expire and be forfeited.
Their software should be programmed to use up the previous months unused portion first.
