Going the Extra Mile

After 2 weeks of having neither a land line or internet service, it is now working.
My thanks to the last technician, Gilton, who finally made an assertive effort to find the root of the problem. He came to the premises yesterday and he resolved that the ADSL equipment with which I had been issued was faulty and had caused the problem of my services being down. I went to Telkom Direct in Centurion and without any problem, they issued me with new internet equipment.
Last night we encountered a problem regarding the final section of installation and after being on the phone for over an hour with 5 technicians who kept putting up through to an unanswered line resulting in our having to phone in again. We finally spoke to a very helpful technician in the Internet Assistance Department, Bongani. Although it was by now close to 21:00 he took us through the whole installation process. His friendly, professional and knowledgeable assistance was greatly appreciated.
Telkom needs more staff such as Gilton and Bongani. Thank you gentlemen you have restored my faith in Telkom!
