I have been a Vodacom customer for the last 10 years and in the last 5 years have been consistently disappointed with their level of service (both on a personal level and their product offering). In seeing the iPhone 5 Straight-Up 200 deal that Cell C currently has on offer, I thought it was time for a change. I called Cell C Direct and for over a week was bounced from one indifferent consultant to the next, with no-one wanting to help me (in the absence of a Credit History, the consultants had to do a follow-up). I heard nothing. I called and emailed but to no avail and was starting to think that I was better off with the-devil-I-knew. Then I happened upon Nokululanga. She was friendly, quick and followed-up as promised and although Cell C wouldn't extend the deal to me without a Credit History, I still felt like Cell C was putting the power in my hands.
