No internet for a week

So I placed a fault report last Monday (27th) I had it escalated on the Wednesday (29th), I still have seen no sign of a Technician. What does escalation mean? I get no feedback from Telkom at all unless I phone them, and I was told today that it would be Thursday at the earliest. This means it takes Telkom about 2 weeks to fix a simple internet problem, and there is no one I can talk to about this except a powerless consultant who makes ridiculous promises. I spoke to a lady yesterday who assured me she would get back to me later that day HA, thanks Leanne from Durban!!! Can ANYONE help me? 778crk270114
