Receiving a notification that R1335 goes through your account for a cellphone bill is something quite shocking...

Upon some investigation (I just happen to be an auditor), I find that on my invoice, CellC says I have used 5616MB of data at a cost (excluding VAT) of R889. Never mind the fact that there is a CLEAR AS DAY arithmetical error: 5616MB*.15 (INCLUDING VAT) = R842 (without even taking into account that I have "free" data).

My real problem however is the fact that I have apparently used 5616MB of data. As I was in Jeffreys Bay at the time, anyone who has been there can confirm it is IMPOSSIBLE to even USE that much... My cellphone's data tracking shows that I used well under 1000MB of data!?!?!?! HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? Upon phoning customer support, the person I spoke to, just read the invoice out to me... HOW IS THIS GOING TO HELP ME?

I also remember VERY clearly requesting that my contract be CAPPED at R50 extra when entering into the contract... CPA?

This is absolutely disgusting service. I have always been one to praise Cell C, and now I have been left completely disappointed. Now I am out of pocket for charges I didn't even incur. I know how much data I used.
