I have been a cell c customer with 2 contracts for about a year now. This month (Jan) my cellphone bill has increased exponentially and I've had to increase my limit on 2 occasions. I have accessed the detailed statement via my account and noticed that there are random charges going off my account. Since last night at 6.30pm, I have used over R 86 and this does not include calls. It is now becoming highly frustrating as the contract is not affordable due to these random charges. Even after purchasing a data bundle, my limit is still being exceeded. I will be taking the matter further with the necessary regulators as this is daylight. Furthermore, I was not informed at inception of the contract that I will be charged a premium for data outside of my monthly bundle. I was also misinformed during the year by your agent who advised me that the option to buy data bundles is not applicable on my current cellphone contract.
