A summary/background to my concerns:
My elderly Parents depend on being reachable via Telkom. They cannot afford Cellphones.
It is now MORE THAN A MONTH that their line is dysfunctional - with an obvious increase in their anxiety levels!!!
1) Fault first time reported on 09/12/2013 - No response.
2) Line again reported on 18/12/13: "Fault 1143CTZ181213 has been created for Service ID 0124600722"
3) On Dec 30 15:07:56: "Dear Customer your report reference 1143CTZ181213 was restored."
NOT SO, IT WAS NOT!!!
4) Immediately reported it again (Mon Dec 30 16:03:24): "Dear Customer, Fault 886CTZ301213 has been created for Service ID 0124600722"
5) On Wed Jan 22 15:10:57: "Telkom has concluded its investigations. The cable in your area will be replaced and the restoration of your service is targeted for 2014/01/28".
6) It is now 03/02/2014!!?? - still NO connectivity!!
... and their Telkom debit order is still on time... for no service!!
