Faulty Phone & Billing Inconsistencies

I signed up for Telkom Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.0 and Samsung Galaxy S4 deals valued at ZAR 289 and ZAR 369 per month. The lady who assisted me informed that the devices had a 7 day guarantee. On the very day that we bought the phone, it started to have problems the screen kept on shaking and would bob up and down as you moved from one screen to the next. We took the phone back the next day but when we showed it to the lady who assisted us it did not show what we were seeing, ie, an inconsistent problem. We took it back and the problem persisted. I took the phone back on Thursday and showed them that it was still acting up. They mentioned that they would not be able to replace it but would repair it instead and that it would take two weeks. I was upset by this because it implied I wouldn't have a phone for two weeks. Add to that I had asked that my mumber be ported onto the Telkom mobile network which had not been done within the 72 hours as suggseted when I signed up. In addition, I received my bill which revealed that Telkom charged me a flat monthly fee for the two devices even though I signed up for my contract on th 25th of January, 2014. I feel extorted.
