My Samsung Galaxy S2 stopped working on the 19/07/2013. I phoned Vodacom 4U in Pearce Street and was directed to the Vodacom Shop Vincent Park.
4 days later, I received an sms from the Vodacom Shop Vincent Park advising that my phone was ready for collection. After waiting for an hour I was advised that my phone could not be fixed because of "Liquid Damage". I was shown a somewhat less than clear photograph.
Knowing full well that the phone had never been exposed to excessive liquid at all, I requested that the phone be opened by the technician that both worked on the phone and came to that conclusion. This was done, and with my Galaxy S4, I photographed the components of the phone in high detail. This mark is under a and cannot get there from outside. It has been 6 months and this is still not resolved. Calls to the RM and promises to supply feedback do not materialise. I took the phone to an acredited samsung agent. They advise that components are missing and there is heat damage!
I am tired of the run around, and this kind of service needs to be stopped!
