I've been subscribing to MTN's Broadband Lite Uncapped package since last year and was made aware that the connection speed would drop from 4mbps to 1 once a 3gig cap had been reached. That speed is still pretty decent and I hadn't had any issues until December 2013. The speed dropped so steeply that I couldn't even complete a simple google search.
I contacted MTN's customer service, and they responded quite quickly requesting some extra info, which I supplied. Then I received another email from someone else requesting the same info. I sent it again, only to recieve ANOTHER email from ANOTHER person asking for the same info. I complained about this and was promptly ignored.
If anything my connection speed is WORSE and I'm yet to actually receive help for this. It's ironic, because I live right next door to the MTN head office on 14th Avenue.
