I bought a 8ta data deal last year... just to find out when I tried to connect... 8ta doesn't have coverage in our area / even close by. I stay in the Mpumalanga area (Leslie, Kriel, Secunda, Bethal, Ogies, witbank). There are mostly farms & Mines in the surrounding areas but I personally think farmers & small towns always get the short end of the stick when it comes to signal/data towers etc. & Nobody (service providers) just don't care!!! We also have jobs that contribute to this economy where we also need to communicate with people in big/other cities... especially farmers!! When I phoned 8ta last year, they said that they are busy putting up towers in other areas and they will notify me when they get to our area..still nothing!! I try to support other smaller service providers such as 8ta but now I know why they are not as successful, I just really find it disappointing that Service providers such as 8ta overlook smaller towns and only cater for big cities where there are Hundreds of towers... too many if you ask me. I would really appreciate it if someone who is in charge could make a plan to cater for smaller towns as well.
