I decided to open a 2gig 2gig contract with vodacom. a trainee set up ny contract and gave me the wromg contract! he gave me a 1g 1g contract instead. When i was on the internet a week or two later, i could not get online. that is how i figured out that i had the wrong contract. my data had run out and i was cut off. i went back to the stone towers branch in king and they then had to order a new package. i ended up paying for 2weeks on my contract and i couldnt even use it! then when i got my new contract of 2g 2g, nobody at the shop told me that i could in fact go over the 2g 2g amount, and that if i do, i will in fact be charged R2 a meg!!!
Nearing the end of October last year, i relized that i had my data finishing within a week, so lined up a whole lot of downloads, thinking that when my 2g 2g was finished, it would cut me off, as it had before with the 1 gig package. On the 6 nov 12, i tried to go online and had been cut off. i phoned customer care 2 find out why, only to hear that i now owed 28 grand! I wrote letters (ignored!)I phoned (pilr2post). i know i used the data, but it was through their clueless staff! they also waited til 28gs? seriously? why couldnt they cut me at 5gs?
