Impossible to cancel Telkom business line

We have tried at least 3 times to get through to the cancellations department via the toll free number that they supply. I eventually went to the Telkom shop in Stadium on Main in Claremont where I was advised that I can cancel our business' telephone account on the day of departure, all we have to do is come into the Telkom store and call from the dedicated telephones. THIS IS NOT THE CASE!!! Eventually when I got hold of the cancellation department I was advised that a written (email) cancellation request is required 1month in advance. This was completely opposite of what the telkom employee told me in the store, basically affecting an additional month's charge due to their lack of training and communication abilities. I sent an email request for cancellation, also querying the cancellation notice period, on the 29th of April and only received an automatic reply. I have since had no further response. I returned to the Stadium on Main Telkom branch to call the cancellation department to follow up. The consultant (Regina) was very helpful by giving me the cancellation manager's direct number (031 - 363 1162) which turned out to be incorrect! What service is this???
