Pathetic MTN Service

I am livid!!!

I upgraded my MTN contract in November to a R239 TOP UP contract and specifically asked the salesman to NOT give me an open ended contract!!!

I asked him on more than occasion while I was in store doing the upgrade to confirm that my bill will never be more than the R239 plus the R10 top up fee per month... and he confirmed this on every occasion that I asked.

Now I receive a phone bill for R1100!!!

This is ridiculous!!! Do you think if I could afford to pay that amount of money per month that I would have opted for the R239 top up contract???

I am beyond outraged and I refuse to pay this bill.

Absoloutely ridiculous... MTN are a bunch of money suckers and should not get away with this kind of service
