Incorrect billing after sales person erro

On 21 February I went to MTN Waterstone with a billing query. I have noticed that my monthly debit from MTN is much higher than it should be.
I have upgraded from a Blackberry to a Samsung S2 at the end of Sept 2012. The salesperson at MTN Waterstone informed me that the Blackberry BIS service was never cancelled on my previous contract. I have thus been paying for a service that I was not receiving for 5 months!!!
22 Feb I receive an sms from Praveshni Govender Re billing query (REQ:1793494) stating that the credit request for R294.98 has been sent through. I was hopeful.
Now today 6 March my MTN debit goes off and AGAIN it is R595 (including the BIS service)!
How long must I keep on paying for a service that I am not receiving and do not want? I am still awaiting the above mentioned credit!
It was the responsibility of the salesperson who handled my upgrade to inform me that the BIS must be cancelled. This was not communicated to me.
I am very disappointed as it feels that MTN is money from me monthly. I have spoken to other people who had the same thing happened to them and it took 6 months to sort out from MTN's side. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
Please sort out urgently!
