Wrong Contract

When I took out my contract I requested the R599 pay as you go special they had running at the time. I was then put onto an open line. I found this out the hard way when I received a much higher bill than usual. I went into the store and asked it to be changed. I was assured it would be changed. A few months later, same thing. And again, and again. The third time I was finally given a form to fill in, and was then told I needed to pay in order to be put on to the correct contract. I refused to pay, and the store now apparently has no record of me going in prior to have the contract corrected. Most convenient. MTN has continuously tried debiting my account for higher and higher amounts, costing me money with bounced debits, etc. I have called previously, and was told the matter was being investigated. I have heard nothing since, and upon calling again today, I am told that there's no proof (again, most convenient) and that I need to pay or they will do nothing about it. I am now beyond furious. I want this sorted out ASAP!
