I bought a R25 Cell C airtime voucher and upon opening it I found the first digit of the voucher number illegible.
I then called CellC helpline and stated my grievance. I was told that I should fax them the voucher with my details and they will get back to me. The serial number as well as 12 of 13 digits of the voucher number are visible. I have access to a fax but what about the costs and what about the man in the street who does not have access to a fax. Cell C is the poor and uneducated blindly. The contact centre personnel said they would transfer me to a supervisor but I was cut off eventually. This isn't the first time that I have lost money with CellC and I am sure I am not the only person to do so. I have had similar problems with Vodacom and they were able to help me and why can't CellC do the same.
