ON 30 DECEMBER 2013 I WENT TO MTN NIGEL TO PURCHASE DATA BUNDLES AND ENQUIRE ABOUT WHAT I HEARD THAT ALL SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 BATTERIES WERE BEING REPLACED AS THEY ARE PROBLEMATIC AND MINE WAS ALREADY SWOLLEN AND IT WAS NOT 6 MONTHS OLD YET. THE GENTLEMAN THERE INDICATED THAT HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THIS. ON 8 JANUARY 2014 I WENT TO MTN AT CARNIVAL MALL WHERE I PURCHASED THE PHONE AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE BATTERIES WERE BEING REPLACED AND PHONES THAT WERE LESS THEN SIX MONTHS OLD WERE BEING COMPLETELY REPLACED.

MY PHONE WAS PURCHASED ON 06 JULY 2013 AND THUS MEANT THAT MY SIX MONTHS EXPIRED ON 06 JANUARY 2013. I WAS TWO DAYS OUT OF WARRANTY TO RECEIVE A NEW PHONE AND IF THE PEOPLE AT MTN NIGEL HAD INFORMED ME ON 28 DECEMBER 2013 WHEN I FIRST WENT THEREFOR INFORMATION I WOULD'VE STILL FALLEN WITHIN THE 6 MONTHS WARRANTY.

I THEN TOOK MY PHONE TO THE MTN REPAIR CENTRE IN BOKSBURG ON 16 JANUARY 2014 WHERE I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WILL TAKE 24 TO 48 HOURS TO REPAIR THE PHONE. AS I AM TYPING THIS ON 21 JANUARY 2014 I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY PHONE AND THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT THEY ARE AWAITING STOCK.

REALLY NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE RECEIVED.
