ABSA ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

I have had my main bond for over 4 years now. We originally ticked a box "We Would Like ABSA TO QUOTE ON BUILDING INSURANCE". 4 Years down the line we are still waiting. So after the initial no response we insured with OOBA Insurance.

We now extended our bond to do renovations. Not only was the bond registration process a complete ball-ache, but ABSA has taken it onto themselves to deduct a amount of -R7500. When queried about this amount we were notified that is was building insurance. After explaining to ABSA that we already have insurance they told us it wasn't enough. So now they are charging us insurance on our ENTIRE BOND VALUE?? Thanks for giving us the opportunity to rectify it with OOBA, thanks for getting back to us after 5 weeks of querying now (note the sarcasm) because to date we have not heard back form ABSA and you have just merrily deducted the R7500 and I AM INCURRING THE INTEREST.

Now I sit and wait for OOBA to pull their finger to send me an amended pricing for the past 3 weeks.

This is the last straw. If this is not rectified with immediate effect, I am going to find an alternative bonding institution and you can kiss my business goodbye! CLOWNS!
