Misleading Advertising on Cellphone Insurance

When I took out a contract for a Blackberry 9900 I took out insurance as well which I diligently pay R 95 every month. This I was told was premiums for cellphone insurance of up to R 7 500.

Things changed totally when I lost my phone and had to claim. I was told by Jonathan from Autopage call centre that I am in fact covered for R 5 500. I pay premiums for insurance of up to R 7 500, but I am not covered for that amount.

This to me is misleading / false advertising and unfair to be charged for something but when they have to deliver I am told I not covered for that.

To me when I am paying for R 7 500 insurance every month I should be covered for that amount. I don't get how another person who pays the same premium as myself would get R 7 500 cover whereas I am not entitled to what I pay for.

This is just pure day light.

I am glad my contracts are expiring soon and wont have to deal with this company any more.
