Vodacom
Broken phone

I am a client with a contract with Vodacom for - 21 years. At the moment my cell cost's are between R1000.00 to -R2000.00 per month. I have a Samsaung phone and the screen started cracking. The software also started giving problems. On 8/01/2014 I had to take the phone from the Strand to Somerset Mall to fix or to be replaced. I just want to say that nobody answers a phone if you phone in. They booked my phone in and promised it to be fixed or replaced within 3 working days. I asked for a phone (loan phone) as I am in business which they would not do..I had to buy a phone just to receive calls. All my e/mails, contacts and sms calls are on my phone. On Wednesday 15/01/2014 I had to drive to Somerset Mall and back, about 20 kilometers and the lady at reception just said go to the back on my inquiry. There I had to stand in a queue again for 10 minutes. That lady could only tell me the phone is at repairs. Is this the way Vodacom tread their existing customers, for 21 years, a client? Must I pay the whole bill at the end of the month as Vodacom could not comply? What about the money I had to lay out for a new phone? Do Vodacom want me to cancel my contract and keep the phone according to the act.
