I wrote a report last week Monday abt data just vanishing and waited for a response after getting the standard copy and paste response abt a consultant calling me, which didn't happen until I wrote a response that I had received no call. A rather condescending Munier (excuse spelling if incorrect) then called abt my query and told me all was correct on their side, the data had been used on 16/17 Dec - 3GIGS and perhaps if I was downloading movies, going on youtube etc etc I'd understand, Munier then asked if there weren't any updates or anything running in the background on my laptop because that could be a cause - there are NO UPDATES running as I know this chews through your data and this is precisely why I disabled it in the first place. Needless to say in my absolute irritation, I hung up on him. I am at present investigating what offerings other service providers have and thank goodness it is January so there are many good deals available. Vodacom has successfully lost a customer with their lacklustre customer service. I am totally disgusted and appalled by this!!
