I've been trying to cancel my Telkom business line since last year! After waiting for what feels like forever to get through to the call centre, I gave up and went into a Telkom Connect Store in Stadium on Main in Claremont Cape Town. I've always resorted to these stores as they offer much better service than the call centres. I was told they can no longer cancel lines and I was directed to a desk with a phone, where I again waited for too long to try speak to someone. I have called the call centre several times since, but can't afford to spend 15mins waiting for someone to answer. I started early today and managed to get someone on the phone after the call centre finally took calls from? 08h15. I am still sitting on the line 15 minutes later after the person told me they would refer me to someone who could help me with a cancellation. I will not put this phone down before I've waited 30mins - but how on earth can this be acceptable!? PLEASE HELP ME!
