A surprise from Telkom

My telephone started giving problems and I logged the fault on the Fri morning via the website as the call centre was taking ages. Within minutes I got a reference number via email and SMS. On Sat morning I got a SMS saying they had remotely checked the line and it seemed OK but said to reply if the fault persisted which I did. Sat lunch time I got a call from the technician to say he was outside our door. We weren't home so he said he would come back later which he did. The technician was so friendly and helpful and deserves his own 'smiley face' but regretably I didn't take his name! As it turned out the fault was our receiver but nevertheless Telkom surprised us with their efficient service. (Just a shame about the call centre which let the side down)
