I am extremely frustrated that i am ready to kill someone. i have just recieved an sms from the lawyers to say that i have been handed over by cell c that i owe them R347.88, i had a contract with cell c may years ago which they used to debit my account with the money that i owed them, i then recieved a call when my contract expired to offer me a new contract where i told then to cancel my contract as i no longer wanted a cell c contract, that was the last time that i heard from them and my debit orders stopped as well, they never debited my account again i now get an sms saying that i owe them money and that i have been handed over and to make matters worse i have never recieved any form of communication to tell me that i owe them money not a sms, nor a letter nor a phone call. i am extremely fustrated, i have asked the lawyers to email me a statment which still has not been done.
i have settled this amount on the 25/6 and recieved a letter confirming that the account has been settled and closed but yet i still get threating phone calls after 7 months stating that i have been handed over, what control do they have over there. please could someone inlighten me on what is happening
