I applied for a new contract and cell phone on the Vodacom direct website. The advert said the phone comes with a 8Gb SD memory card. When they phoned me to verify my application I was informed that they are out of stock of the 8Gb memory cards and they will have to put the application on back order. Why do they advertise a special if they don't have stock. The phone is a gift for my daughter. Now I am worried that the phone won't arrive in time. All they need to do is contact a Vodacom store near me and instruct them to provide me with the 8Gb SD card and send the phone which is in stock. That would be good customer service.
