I had a problem canceling my contract and logged a call with hello peter, then one of the 8ta consultants phone me and said that the account is now cancelled, and then I asked will any amount be deducted from my account next month and he said no money will be deducted. Now I get a bill of R8, 270.50 Termination Admin Fee R 800.00, Termination Penalty R 7, 695.67. When I phoned 8ta to inquired about this the lady said that is because I cancelled my contact mid-way and I need to pay for the duration of the contract which illegal according to the national consumers protection act.
