Length of time call centre takes to answe

I have a 2G broadband contract and had to stop the sim when my tablet was. I then did a sim swap and was told the new sim would be active within 2 to 24 hours, it is now 5 weeks later and the sim is still not working. Numerous calls have been made to the call centre to try snd get this issue resolved, each time waiting for 30 to 45 minutes for an agent to answer. I have currently been holding on for 46 minutes. My daughter who is with Vodacom did her sim swap on the same day and her line was active within 4 hours. The service stinks and to top it all, I am phoning from my husbands vodacom phone which is costing a huge amount which I hope mtn is going to refund.
