I had a 3g contract with MTN. it was terminated on 20 December 2013. When I took the contract out I was charged one month subscription in advance.
So as far as I am concerned I am up to date with the payments, yet I have been handed over to their legal department.
Talking to MTN call centre personnel is a very tiring. They are very long in answering their calls. I waited over 10 minutes. Then when you do get to talk to them the staff talk very un cooperative and have a very poor understanding of the work in general. They talk very badly.
As a result I still have no Idea as to any outstanding amounts, either to me or by me. When I asked to talk to a supervisor Welie Maphonga was very aggressive and un cooperative.
I am so glad I have terminated all my MTN contracts and no longer have to deal with them.
