My Sony Xperia Z1 slipped from my pocket en fell 500mm onto a couple of pebbles and cracked the screen as well as the touch screen.(Gorilla Glass? Impossible!!) I took the phone on the 2nd of December 2013 to the MTN branch at Somerset Mall. I have now enquired 4 times by calling the Technical queries at 08309000349 and every time promises were made. I visited Clint September at MTN Somerset Mall who was very helpful and also called the same number to find that I must have an e-mail sent to me on 19 December, which I did receive but without any content. Is this good or bad service? I try to run my office from my cellphone but the last month I was without my contacts, memos, reminders, twitter and all the other apps I am running from my cellphone. This has been a highly frustrated period and I still cannot understand why I must wait 31 days without an answer. MTN do not call you back, do not deliver on their promisses and actually I have so many complaints that I would rather tell the world: Do not buy a Sony Xperia, do not have repairs done by MTN, do not use their their technical advice for the staff are not trained to inform customers on what is happening.
