I got a Z1 on an upgrade Thursday 2 January, Friday afternoon I tested its ability to take pictures under water, my swimming pool is only 1.5M deep at the deepest end, I submerged it about 50cm and took a couple of pictures and everything worked flawlessly (I ensured every cover was shut completely and dried it thoroughly after about 60 seconds under water) then that night the phone started switching itself off, after being switched on again it switches itself off again randomly after a couple of second or minutes sometimes, then it just went dead, tried charging it but to no avail. In the one day I had the phone it was a extreme pleasure to use, I only used and handled the phone in the way the user guide states. I returned the phone Saturday 4 January to vodashop and told me it would qualify as a out the box failure after their assessment, but if any traces of water can be found all warranties will be void. (which is strange for a device with a IP58 rating and the user guide indicates that the phone can be used under water)
So now I am waiting for vodashop to come back to me?
This is a big dissapointment for me, ive owned a T68, T610, T630, P1i, satio - never had problems
