I had 3 8ta top up accounts where I paid up front for the contract. I received my airtime every month and after 12 months I was supposed to stop receiving the airtime and purchase my own like normal prepaid. However without any contact from 8ta they deactivated all 3 numbers on 30 December. This has caused a great inconvenience as I have lost my contact number which was very important. Not only that but I saved over R200 airtime altogether to be used whenever. This is all gone and by 8ta. There Customer service doesn't understand and seem very incompetent, the email service just said your number has ceased due to some amount of R6000 in arrears which is absolute nonsense because it was an upfront payment for a top up account.
