I purchased a new sim card from Checkers to replace my damaged sim. When I phoned to provide the information to Cell C to do the sim swop I was advised that the sim belongs to someone else. Surely there should be a way for Cell C to prevent this from happening. The Sim Card is also not a micro chip but the large one and I incurrered a fee to cut the card. How would I know which sim card will be safe to buy?
