Requested cancellation of cel c contract (due to death of account holder) on 6 Dec at Polokwane branch. We were told the cancellation takes up to a month. Today (2 Jan) we received the monthly account which shows the full amount for the contract rental has been debited from the account holder's bank account. I have no problem with being billed for the calls that were made during Dec but why, since we requested the cancellation of the contract on 6 Dec, are we being charged for the contract rental for Dec? I have now been on the line with 3 different cel c representatives. Each time i get transferred to another number because they cant help me. Then I get cut off and have to start the whole process again. I dont have the time or energy for dealing with incompetence during this time of grief. After reading the myriad of complaints concerning cel c on hellopeter there is no way I will renew my own cel c contract when it expires
