On the 23th December I returned an item which had a blatant design floor before it broke to the Tygervalley store. The item which was in the original packaging and was only purchased on the 27th November. The consultant Cindy checked the item while I looked at another or alternate product as I had already replaced it. None of the options I gave her where available nor in the other stores in the centre. I thus exercised my right for a refund as I could find the alternate products at other stores. The Manager Anene REFUSED my request saying that this was company policy. I reminded her that as per Section 56 of the CPA i was entitled to a refund. I was directed to their Head Office as she was not going to change her stance. I called Tremaine at around 9:30 who would call me back in 30 Minutes. The request must have been uncommon as everyone seemed to be required to authorise this. I called 11:00 as and then again at 13:20 (now speaking to Monique). Monique called at 2:12 to say that they working on it. I called again around 16:00 to be told that it was declined. Educate your staff as since mentioning this I have heard more complaints. I would spend more money retelling this.
