Refusal to refund a watch bought previous day

I had a watch purchaced as gift at the Jeep Store in Highveld Mall Witbank yesterday. My PA had purchased the incorrect watchand on returning the item to the store today I was told that no cash refunds would be doneand that alternate items n the store could be purchased. I found the manager not even willing to listen tomy request and find it absolutely rediclous that an item such as a watch cannot be returned. i would appreciate any assistance. My request is simply that the watch be returned and that the cost be refunded. This is accepted practice in many stores. Contact from someon ewho is willing to listen would be appreciated. This type of service is exactly why refuse to shop at Witbank stores.
