I recently purchased a 'fast' plug in modem from MTN. I was dismayed by the lack of instructions in the box, but I plugged in and followed the instructions. When it wouldn't work I contacted mtn via facebook for help. They asked for the problem, so I told them. Then they said to email them. No reply.
I cannot load credit as I have no idea of the cell number or how to find it. This has been going on for days.
When. I finally got lucky and stumbled onto getting it working, with some problems I find the 'fast' speed is between 1.5kbs and 30kbs. I waited 20 min for half a page to load!
Customer happy? No.
I have the honour of having an MTN mast 50m from my house. So how is the download speed so slow?
