24 hr False Pormises and False Advertising

The eagerly anticipated dreadful time has arrived, Upgrade Time at Mtn.

So as to avoid the long queues, a quick perusal on their website to get a suitable product and contract revealed that we could have a contracts for 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.
Great! I would definitely consider a shorter contract period.

On my arrival at the store, no such periods exist!! All 24 months. WOW.

Okay, moving right along. Contract with air time, sms' and 150MB Data, to be received on 27th (anniversary).
The air time and sms' was received as promised, but no data. I contacted the call center to advise them... and their response was "wait until 24hrs, as sometimes there is a delay"-Neo, 8:30 Ref107541951.
That's my fault, suppose... but wait I did nonetheless, making sure I make no phone calls.

24hr later 8:30, 28th December I call to follow up. Nothing has been done. That doesn't surprise me, as this only happens every 2nd year, Upgrade time.
Zanele inform me that she's logged the query, and asks me to wait another 24hrs.

Guess what, its 24hrs later, and still no data.
instead, my airtime is being slowly consumed, and in response to "what recourse I have", Zanele answers "You knew you had no data"
