Mtn have as yet to reply to an enquiry from October 2013, were I was charged for a new phone. My previous phone had water damage, which Mtn charged me for servicing. The handset was 4 months old. According to the contract I should have received a replacement phone whilst mine was in the workshop, this did not happen. When I asked about the insurance, I was asked to pay R1886.78 over and above my contract to receive a new phone. I have subsequently established that the Mtn person did not know the value of the phone when he insured. Why should I, as a loyal client (over 10 years) pay for their stuff up? I have forwarded their email a few times, called their offices but nobody can give me a straight/honest answer. This will be the last time I deal with a bunch of!!!
