Where is my data disapearing to?

I have been on a R189, 00 2 gig data contract with MTN for more than a year. Actually there is only about 5 months left of the contract and then I'll be free from this feeling of total hopelessness. Every month on the 13th my 2 gigs are loaded, and in the last couple of months I have found that the data does not last as long as it used to. I used it primarily for the purpose of emails. I do not surf the net and I do not download movies ect. once again, on 13 December it was loaded, I check the usage when I start and again when I'm done. By the 19th of Dec 2013 I was already on less than 200 Mb. I just don't know where it's going to. I open my emails on 900 Mb, when I'm done it's below 700Mb, s. How is this possible. I get the idea MTN enjoys sending me a bill for out of bundle use? Can someone at MTN please clear this for me, and better still can you please end my contract with immediate effect so that I can continue with my life without having to worry about unforeseen expenses coming from MTN? Thank you so much, it will be such a great Christmas present!!
