No joy at all in this cellphone upgrade!

I recently upgraded, I waited a few months before I could, weighed up my options then finally decided on one. Little did I know my data usage was on, so to my bemusement my bill went up to R1020. I approached a Vodashop nearby and they explained and assisted me. This morning, to my shock, I see the actual bill is R1374. How on earth did it move from R581 before the upgrade to now R1374??? This is unfair. I'm fond of Vodacom, been with them for many years and I've never had such a horrific experience with my bill. Thank you very much, I will indeed have a wonderful Christmas. One thing for sure, I regret the upgrade and it's going to be a long dreadful 24 months..
