I upgraded my phone with agent who said he was calling from vodacom. he never advised that there is a 105.00 that needed to be paid and how it must be paid and now my phone has been soft locked. i have been sent from pillar to post and no one can assist. I was told i could pay the amount at any vodacom shop, but that is not the case. Eventually i was told i would have to drive all the way to sandton to pay the amount. They also advised that they cant debit my account. When i called vodacom yesterday, i was told the people who did the upgrade for me are a company called Mundo customer care and not vodacom. I was referred to them as i dont want the phone anymore since it is causing havoc for me. Their systems were down and they couldnt assist. Basically Vodacom cannot assist me in anyway even though my upgrade is a vodacom upgrade and i have been a vodacom customer for the past 6 years. I have lost count of how many times i have called vodacom. I have had the phone hung up one me, to agents who dont know what they are talking about. I dont want their phone anymore because i am sick and tired of this because there is no way i am going to drive to the other side of town just to pay.
