Taking up a contract with Vodacom having your date of expiery as e.g. end January 2014 does not help as they will continue to take off and debit yourn account even after your expiery date. Their reason is you have to call and notify them that they must cancel and stop debiting your account.

My question to them is why do i have to do that if on our aggreement the contract expired date is in Jan 2014? What am I paying for going forward? this means if you dont check you bank statemnts you might pay for this contract till you go to the grave.

What is the point of having an expiery date and why dont they make this clear to their customers? When did all this cahnge as it is not the first time i have taken up a contract with them
