My son is on prepaid airtime with MTN, he gets R60 a month airtime, with this he loads R39.00 Blackberry service so that he can contact myself and his father when required and won't cost him additional airtime. On Thursday the 12th he loaded the BIS for the month, as he does on a monthly basis and has been doing for the last year. He received an sms the following morning stating that the BIS would be loaded within 48 hours. 72 hours later nothing has been loaded, on contacting the MTN call centre enquiring about this I get told that the request was cancelled by us and there is nothing they will do as their systems show them we were wrong by cancelling it. Now why would we do something so stupid as to give MTN money for nothing.

The request was not cancelled, it is an error on their side but they refuse to refund the money or reload the BIS service. It is a good thing that this phone is on prepaid because i can easily change to another service provider.

The funny thing is that MTN is supposed to be a responding company on Hello Peter but I haven't seen any responses on previous complaints, just goes to show THEY DO NOT CARE!!!
