I recently took out a contract with Vodacom. When I called, I specifically asked about the free SIM connection fee as advertised on the website. The agent assured me that it applies. However, I was charged the fee anyway. Lomarie van Dyk investigated and told me that the discount did not apply.
Why would I place the order telephonically when I could have the the website? A follow up was not successful (PC-ZH79-3V12ZO). It's fairly straight forward, calls are recorded for reasons like this. In accordance with ICASA, a supervisor must handle my complaint before my complaint can be escalated to ICASA. So please ensure that a supervisor handles my complaint.
