Changing of Contract type

I cancelled my Telkom 10G contract and was contacted by a lady who offered me an uncapped contract for a far cheaper rate. I told her that I would refrain from cancelling and take her offer. Since then it has been downhill. At a later date I missed a call from Telkom and received a voice message saying that my line had been changed. I later realised that I was still receiving usage reports for the 10G contract. When I called to ask I was told that it would be activated. This 'activation' ended up with my line being 'upgraded' (it wasn't) as well as a new application for the new contract which then had my modem giving an error. I spoke to two consultants that promised to fix it and sms or phone me when it was corrected and none of them did. I finally spoke to a helpful gentleman today that was able to help me to get the modem working. When I called the ISP department to check which contract was active they told me that I had renewed the 10G contract which is not true.

Please assist as I am very frustrated and tempted to cancel Telkom altogether.
