8ta sold me R1800 airtime instead of 60GB data

On 20th December, I bought a SIM card from 8ta which was supposed to contain the 60GB prepaid data promotion.

This cost R1, 800 and is loaded as airtime, which must be converted to data. The SIM card was not activated for data in the store, and so when I started using the SIM card for internet, it was simply burning through R1800 airtime.

The airtime was finished really quickly, and following several complaints I was told by the in-store staff that a voucher is being arranged to refund the data which I originally bought.

It is now February and I have yet to receive this data.

* I have been given the N1 City branch number but it is never answered.
* I have been to the branch physically 5 or 6 times and spoken to various people - promises are made, but I have received no results.
