I have a brand new SONY EXPERIA Z which my mother had couriered from Durban to Cape Town for me. One receipt of the package I opened the phone and proceeded to set it up and power it up.
On first glance all seemed perfect. (I am a huge fan of Sony and have been since the CYBER SHOT days).
On my second day of having the phone I noticed that the phone needed charging which I then did. The charge light came on and the lightning strike through the battery on the display showed.
The phone did not charge unfortunately and powered down as a result.
I sent the phone in to MTN for repair.
On receipt of the phone back I was told that a full service was done and that the issue was fixed.
Again I put the phone on and the battery showed 605% life.
That night I put the phone to charge and again all the indications showed that it was.
Again the phone did not charge unfortunately and powered down as a result.
I took the phone back again to MTN who sent the phone away for repair.
I received the phone back yesterday 11.12.13 and this device has the same issues.
Surely this is not normal.
Please help
