Contract airtime exhausted

Im very very dissapoint and highly off at Cell C.Again this month my airtime has been exhausted before i make any phone calls or use it. The only internet service i use is Whats App. When contacting Cell C customer service, they said i was on the internet. I was NEVER on the internet. I tried logging onto the internet and it said service unavailable - temporarily unvailable. How does that use my airtime when i didnt go through to the internet because it was our of service? My contracting is ending with Cell C month end of December and im relevied. Can they just open my phone to make it a pre-paid so i stop bothering them when such happens again as it the second time its two consecutive months. Im highly dissapointed and not happy. Please reimburse me with my data bundles as i need my whats app and never used any internet facilities and it was out of order. How come airtime goes off when aphone is enganged and never rang or answered? It doesnt make sense. Im a very unhappy customer of Cell C.
