I am very unhappy with the service i have recieved from Vodacom customer care the past 3 weeks. Trying to sort out my account for November with no luck (now i have already received the December bill). I upgraded to a samsung S3 mini in October. I specifically asked the sales lady what the price for the phone a month will be (confirmed R273) then i receieved a bill for R505 in November!!! All of a sudden there is a handset installation fee of R69 for 24 months (not mentioned when i upgraded my phone after asking pertinently what my monthly installment will be). I have been trying to contact the customer care line various times, after holding for about 15 min i am told that the system is offline, fine will phone againt, next day phone, the lines goes down while talking to a consultant. I went back to the Vodacom Shop (Festival Mall) to sort the account, this lady told me that my bill should only be R273 a month that the Handset installation fee is incorporated in my package! I also wanted to convert my airtime (200 TopUp) to R100 data and R100 airtime, i was told to purchase databundles from my phone and it will be deducted from my airtime, billed me seperately.
